TeenTalk

The Good, Bad and Ugly

This channel is all about our teens, the hidden gems in our community who’ve experienced enough in 2020 alone that feelings of uncertainty in a world where certainty is becoming extinct are growing and spreading like wildfire.

There are many sites where teens can express themselves freely but not many where the words are being read, heard, seen and felt by those who have the power and necessary tools to make change. All the stories, poetry, podcasts and videos you read and see here have been written and/or expressed by teens in our community, many electing to remain anonymous.  We encourage everyone, but especially the parents and elders to stop and take time to read what our youth have to say. Then challenge yourselves to look through their lens at the world for a moment. Because there’s no doubt we’ve passed on more than a few challenges to them.

Our youth will be leading all of us into and through the inevitable (r)Evolution already in motion. They will need as much understanding and support we can muster as they find new ways to navigate the complicated world they’ve inherited. If you are interested in receiving our TEEN TALK newsletter, subscribe here and visit TamVault for a plethora of resources and foundations to contact if any of their stories resonate and you need or would like to help!
